Ag Expo is coming—and homeschool families are invited!
On Wednesday, April 8 at 11:45 AM, homeschool groups and families are invited to a fun fast‑paced Agriculture Adventure at the McHenry County Fairgrounds.
Students and associated adults will rotate through 19 exciting stations, spending about 6 minutes at each booth. Along the way, they’ll explore animals, crops, fiber, farm safety and equipment, trees, butterflies, food safety, sustainability and soil, specialty crops, and agricultural careers. It’s an energetic, interactive experience designed to keep kids engaged and learning! You may view pictures of a past event by clicking here.
The presentations are geared toward 3rd and 4th grade students, but younger or older siblings are welcome. We just ask that families and groups stay together and keep to the rotation schedule as they move from booth to booth.
