McHenry County Club Town Inc. was created to promote and advance agriculture, home economics, 4-H, civic and community interest. It also provides facilities and accommodations for club meetings, shows and activities.
Club Town Inc. recently donated $13,500 to McHenry County Extension in support of their 4-H and youth programs. In the last ten years; Club Town Inc. has donated $123,200 to this effort.
At the Annual Meeting of Club Town Inc. the following directors were elected; Voting Directors include Dolores Hermansen, Leona Rinn, Marlene Radar, Ken Bauman, Joe Henning and Terry Peterson. Advisory members include Bruce Meier, Dan Volkers, Cindy Harris and John Henning.
Ken Bauman, President, will be leading the organization and Dolores Hermansen will serve as Vice President. Club Town welcomes Terry Peterson as a voting member representing Farm Bureau. Vern Schiller, former director, retired from the organization after concluding his service on the Farm Bureau Board. The Club Town Board of Directors would like to thank Schiller for his leadership and years of service.
Club Town Inc. is a joint effort of McHenry County Farm Bureau and McHenry County Home and Community Education (HCE).
