I would like to start off by saying that I am thrilled to be a member of the Farm Bureau staff. As the Ag in the Classroom coordinator, I am excited to share my passion for agriculture with others in our community. For the past five years, I was a Spanish teacher at Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, Illinois and I loved my job but I decided to stay home with my family this year and help out more on our family farm. My husband David and I have two young boys, Clark (4) and Jack (19 months). We milk on the family farm in Hebron, Illinois and we love watching our children grow up on the farm and learn all that the farm has to offer. I think that our children are extremely blessed to grow up on a farm and I cannot wait to share some of those experiences with others when I go into their classrooms. In addition to milking cows, we also have a small angus cow/calf operation and we grow corn, soybeans and alfalfa. In addition to being a farmer's wife and a mother, I love learning new things all the time! Some of my passions other than the farm are fitness and nutrition, the Spanish language and culture, reading, traveling, volleyball and the Green Bay Packers. I may live in Illinois but when it comes to football, I bleed green n gold!
