Top Membership Recruiters

The 2011 Top Three Membership Recruiters were recently recognized at the Farm Bureau appreciation luncheon. In 1st place was Andy Ferrera (pictured with MCFB President Bruce Meier), who signed 61 new Farm Bureau members. Chris Manrose and Jason Shreeves shared the remaining top spots with 50 new members. Ferrera, Manrose and Shreeves serve as Financial Representatives for COUNTRY. To find a representative near you, click here.

Help available for tax season

McHenry County Farm Bureau will once again be offering tax return services to Farm Bureau members.

Ralph Miller, certified public accountant, will be preparing taxes for clients on Thursdays in February and March. Miller has more than 25 years of experience in preparing personal and farm income taxes. Regular tax updates will be available on our website www.mchenrycfb.org.

Scholarship offered

McHenry County Farm Bureau Agricultural Education Foundation is offering a $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship is available for high school seniors perusing continuing education in agriculture, home economics, or any agriculture related field. The applicant or the applicant's family must be a member of the McHenry County Farm Bureau to qualify.

All scholarship applications need to be received by April 15.
